ONIRA TALKS: FANNY MOIZANT
June 8th, 2017
Where do you live ?
In London, between Camden and Primrose Hill
Favourite City? And favourite place to go when there?
Paris, city of light. I think I love Paris even more since I moved away 4 years ago. It’s such a beautiful place. I love staying in hotel Bachaumont in the Marais.
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
I drink half a litre of water while checking my emails.
What does your day-to-day beauty routine look like? Do you have any essential products that you swear by?
For my face, I am completely addict to Joelle Ciocco products. I follow her routine daily. In the morning, I use the lotion and day cream. In the evening, I cleanse really well, twice, and then apply lotion and cream.
On my body, I use a dry brush every morning to give me energy and wipe away the dead cells. Then I might apply a cream or oil, it really depends on how my skin is feeling on the day.
For my hair, I also follow a minimal routine; I wash my hair once a week only. Always with Onira The Natural Shampoo. Sometimes, I skip the shampoo step altogether though, and just use Onira The Conditioner. It makes my hair soft and shiny.
I also use The Serum by Onira when I feel like my hair needs a boost.
Or a top beauty tip?
Sleep and eat healthily. I can really see the difference in my skin and hair if I’ve been out partying, drunk too much wine or haven’t been eating well.
What about your health/fitness routine? How do you stay in shape?
A good friend of mine ;-)) with the body of my dreams has given me the best trainer recommendations. I tend to see 2, very different trainers, 1 is more cardio focused (I run with him, do burpees, squats etc.), while the other has a much more holistic approach which incorporates a lot of yoga.
I love both so much but unfortunately my busy schedule doesn’t allow me to exercise as much as I would like.
What’s your ultimate wardrobe staple?
My uniform! It’s rare to catch me in anything other than a pair of jeans, an oversize jacket (I love Stella McCartney & Celine for these), and high-heels (I have a Gianvitto Rossi addiction) or trainers (Saint Laurent or Stan Smith).
From time to time, I add a statement piece, like a Hermes cuff, to elevate the look.
How would you define your personal style?
In 2 words I would say “easy chic”.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Trust yourself”. it’s all about confidence. If you feel comfortable in yourself, you will shine. Don’t ever try to be someone else.
Your mantra to live by?
“Less is more”. I really believe in minimal living. I think you can be happier if you focus on the important things in life, the rest can wait!
